théATRE is a Beijing based bakery specialized in tea infused pastry, sweeties and cakes. Project's brief was to redefine a new space identity for the new store, oriented to a specific kids and family target, while keeping few existing elements such as the light blue brand identity color and the tea ceremony desk. A folded waved wall colored with the hues of the company's blue is wrapping the whole technical box of kitchen, bar counter and exposed cake decoration area. A collage of different marbles on wall and floor is adding a new color palette characterizing the space, while five large hand-made chandeliers made of rice paper will create an unexpected element of surprise on the ceiling.
